Winnie The Cat And I!

Oct 12, 2018

Helloo! This is Stephanie...Talk, Tales and Trivia!

Talk, Tales and Trivia will be returning with another great episode next Wednesday (October 17th)! Very exciting!

First of all I hope you all have an amazing weekend planned. I will be resting up, and reading, and listening to my favorite podcasts, and watching a couple of shows on hulu, and netflix.

Why am I taking it easy you may ask?...well, next week is crazy busy for me (more on that in the next episode). Plus, I need a small amount of time for myself.

If you’ve been mostly on Facebook lately you’ll know my sad tale about Winnie, my precious cat. Let’s just say that Wednesday night was awful for Winnie and it was pretty sad for me too.

So here’s my (kind of) short tale that unfolded on Wednesday:

Wednesday around 2pm Winnie was laying on the bed next to me and she stretched out her little front arm and I stroked her arm for a long time. She loved it!

But when I would stop to drink water or change the channel she would move her arm closer and wiggle her paw wanting me to keep petting her. And for that moment on the bed it was perfect.

I think that was her way of telling me “I love you” or “thank you” or something because she’s really never been that affectionate.

After that she ran (ok...she walked fast) into the living room and I found her in one of the corners of the living room not looking very well and she was so weak she couldn’t even walk. I knew it wasn't good! Right then I took her to the vet.

Winnie was really sick but here is the important part...she has never been a really healthy cat. She’s had hyperthyroid, and intestinal issues along the way (she has medicine and regular check-ups and pet insurance just in case anyone’s wondering) and she is between 15 and 18 years old (the rescue place didn’t really know)...

Well you can probably guess the rest went downhill from there.

I really just wanted you all to know that I haven't forgotten you (and how could I?) and that Talk, Tales and Trivia is so important to me. I will be back next week for another chat on something nice and breezy.

So Much Love,
